Concerts

I have been to more concerts that I care to remember and many good nights have been had. I'm going to one at the end of this month, but I'm going on my own. It will be the first time I have done such a thing and I'm worried and somewhat scared. Has anyone been to a concert on his/her own before and if so, how did you get one? How did you feel?

Trying to find myself again.

No but I've been to a few musicals on my own and that went fine. I sure you will get on fine, who are you going to see? Have fun!

I go to a lot of concerts by myself - in fact, I prefer it.

You don't have to worry about losing anyone in the crowd, you can go toilet/to the bar/outside without having to worry about finding your friend(s) after, you can arrive/leave when you want etc. You honestly forget you are on your own as you are having fun and are enjoying the music, it's honestly not bad in the slightest!

Just be careful and sort out how you are getting home in advance (and preferably let someone know what time you should roughly be getting back) so they know you are safe etc but you should be fine!

I'm going to see Journey, Whitesnake and Thunder at Wembley Arena on 29th May. I'm going to try (finances pending) and book a tour of Wembley Stadium too while I'm there. I'm working on the theory that I may as well do what I can and make some kinda day of it. Live 80 miles away from London so I will be going in my car, I have already pre-booked my parking space at the arena.
I'm sure that once the music starts, all thoughts of being in there on my own will be forgotten. I'm just worried how I will feel the next morning and whether my depression level will be okay or if it will bring me down. There is no point in me worrying about that now.
