I think psycho isnt that shocking anymore because everyone pretty much knows what happens before they even watch the film which takes the element of surprise out of it. I remember having to do a whole essay on the shower scene music alone which i managed to do without watching the whole film.

I like horror movies but i like the phycological stuff better than the "yay lets kill everyone" films, saying that i loved the orphanage and that directors stuff.

I was unimpressed with the woman in black too. Very disappointed after all the hype about it as well.

May might interest a lot of people here. Self harm, psychological stuff and horror all wrapped in a single movie.
Then there's Grave Encounters! (Personal favourite).

I don't really like scary movies but I just saw Cabin in the Woods.
I like The Orphanage. It's not really horror I guess but it's meant to be scary. It's a foreign film, in spanish if I remember right. With subtitles, I didn't really mind though. Oh, and I liked Mindhunters a lot too.
Also, you might want to see the new Evil Dead movie once it makes its way to netflix. Wayyyy too gory for me though....

Giving up doesn't always mean you're weak.
Sometimes it just means you're strong enough to let go.
