I lyk the film and some of the scenes are amazing but I think overall
the book is better. The film missed out some really good parts, but
that always happens grrr.
What do you think?
Or if you've only read the book or watched the film, what did you think?

Well content loves the silence, It thrives in the dark, With fine winding tendrils,That strangle the heart,
They say that promises sweeten the blow, But I don't need them, No, I don't need them...
I have seen the movie and read the book. I saw the movie before I ever considered reading the book, then I liked the movie so much I purchased the book and read it more times than I can recall. I love both!
"..Say what you will but I believe in moments like this, they make us matter.
Look in my eyes and tell me you don't believe that I'm right.."
What I don´t like of the movie is that so many interesting characters from the book aren´t mention.
Well, the running away- story line is just for making the movie more interesting but I like it though.
If I have to chose, I would pick the movie because it is more chronological.
I can't control my destiny.
I trust my soul. My only goal is just to be. (Rent)
I'm selfish, inpatient and a little insecure.
I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle but if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. (Marilyn Monroe)
i love the book, even tho i like the film as well i dont think it does the book justice - too much left out and not in it - but then again the films are never as good as the book.
I liked both...but I'll go with book. Not that I've read it for about 10 years but I used to like it when I was a teenager. Now I go for more adult mental health books but it really helped me start to understand what was going on with me, coupled with Prozac Nation, another book I haven't read in years.

How could you become as awesome as you are and still feel like a loser?
I've read one and watched the other, and I loved both for different reasons. I loved the book because it was full of her ideas and thoughts, and I loved the movie because it was entertaining and because I identified a bit with several characters.
"When I was a little kid, my mother told me not to stare into the sun, so when I was six I did..."
I've seen the film a million times and loved it so bought the book. Thought it was a good accompliment but havent read it again since. I'd probably have to read it again before i could chose though.
