Thinking of you lovely. I know from experience being sectioned is scary, and it's so frustrating that a consultant isn't available. But please please know that they are just trying to keep you safe. And what would we do without our Aubergine?

Thank you so much.
Had mini CPA today. They can see an improvement. Still on escorted leave in the grounds though. Still "no plans for discharge." "We'll see you next week." I do feel a bit better. Less scared. Doctor today saw me when I first came in and said that there's no way I could have had a conversation then, as I didn't seem able to access my thoughts properly, but I managed to use words today. So that's good.
I saw my mum for the first time since admission today. We cried lots. She thinks it's her fault because she was unwell. It's really not. I don't know how to reassure her.
Also had art therapy today, which was challenging, so I feel emotionally wrung out. I'm so tired. Meds are kicking in so I hope to sleep soon. I think it's been a positive day, but I'm shattered.

I'm really glad you are feeling a bit better. Keep going and hopefully things will continue to improve. I'm sorry your Mum is upset and blaming herself, I think you have tried to reassure her and it's now up to her to take that on board if she can. Look after yourself and you can both work through things when you are much better. How are you getting on today?

Thinking of you. I hope you can find some ways to feel safer and better able to express and access your thoughts. I know those feelings of trapped, and they are terrible.
I know my therapist lets me type things out to her in sessions when I find talking difficult. Are there any means of communication that are easier for you? Maybe they would let you try to use them if possible?
