I am currently:
Triggering (SI) - I totally messed up last night.

After 38 days self-harm free, not only did I relapse, I graduated from scratching to cutting. ****. The cravings were too much. It was almost a bit of a relief, since I'd been obsessing.

But still. I feel like a horrible failure with no willpower.

You shouldn't feel like a failure hun... you reallly shouldn't 38 days is a good thing and just becaus you cut doesn't mean youre relapsing. It's just a little blip and you can pick yourself up and carry on if you feel you can.

Just remember that if you've done it before you can do it again. You will do it again and you will be able to quit for good. But if you feel the cravings are too strong you need to learn alternate coping methods. Just try everything and anything when you need to cut.

You aren't a horrible failure. 38 days takes a lot of willpower.

You are not a failure at all, you have the willpower to cope with 38 days. Stumbling doesn't need to lead to a fall sweety, keep strong xxx

One thing that will help in recovery:

DON'T GET YOURSELF DOWN OVER A RELAPSE! <3
I had an anorexia relapse yesterday, I know what you're going through.

Pick yourself back up. Forget about it and keep going!
I relapsed many times while quitting cutting, but eventually it'll get easier.
