Nat, are you pole dancing? That is apparently one of the best forms of exercise you can do, it's really good for your body and confidence :]
Also, in the right circumstances, it's an incredibly beautiful form of movement :]

... *quietly answers* Yes... XD My friend and I were out shopping and she mentioned about it in Ann Summers when we saw they were selling poles so I looked it up and for £5 I thought I'd give it a go. =)
I watched some YouTube videos on it and WOW at some of the things they do, it does look incredibly beautiful. =)
I told my Mom and she was cool with it, just told my Dad it's dance classes. XD
Yeah I just want to do something that'll make me feel healthy as even though I walk a couple of times a week, it isn't enough! XD
I think it's a beautiful sport, and done right it isn't sexualised at all in it's original form. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Most of the time, in classes like that it's more used as a gymnastics style apparatus :] Good luck! I hope you have a fantastic time ^_^

That's a good idea Marie, have a look around on Amazon or Google about local classes. =D That's what I did, I didn't want to pay £100 for a pole and learn myself. XD £5 an hour is good with me. =P

I'm looking for a DVD now, but I'm being put off by the constant theme of 'Do this to lose weight' when I'm trying to get my **** together. If I do something like this, I want it to be for a 'I've wanted to try this for a long time for no other reason than I think it could make me feel pretty' reason.

I get what you mean Marie, when my cousin suggested it to my years ago it put me off too. >.< I like the word tummy it sounds cute. Belly makes you think of old men in the pubs with a pint of beer. XD
