So, I was taking part in the 'great distraction list' recommendation of planning my perfect wedding (must hide history to prevent boyfriend freakout!) and I've discovered that you can get married at the Globe! As in Shakespeare's theatre!
As I'm a Shakespeare MA student and a prospective English teacher, how incredible would that be!?
So, got me thinking. If you could get married anywhere, where would it be and why?

Im planning my wedding at the moment and my dream place would be a barn on a farm but turns out there aren't too many barns in the middle of the city :P and the ones nearby are blooming expensive lol.
Also you can get married at chester zoo! I think that would be fun :)
And London zoo. Imagine a lemur at your wedding . . . The reptile house would be incredible (it's available too) but my maid of honour is terrified of snakes . . .
I love the idea of getting married at Kew Gardens, but the most incredible building available is the temperate house (I have curly hair . . . disaster waiting to happen!)

If I could get married anywhere I wanted it would be a registry office 'cos it's nice & low key, not too extravegant I think I might get overruled on that though lol :)
My brother and sister in law got married at a zoo. Their main wedding photo (which also went in the newspaper) had two giraffes in the back! was well funny. there were buses that went round the zoo which was free for the guests.. kids held stuff blah blah.. was good..
... even though i dont want to get married but... the black forest in Germany :)

My sister is hoping she will get married here:http://news.cnet.com/i/ne/p/2006/temple_450x600.jpg which is Temple Church in london.Because shes a member of the Inner Temple and has been called to the bar its kind of fitting that she has her wedding there and her reception at Inner temple.
Mine will be a church and probably a village hall, were soooo different haha.xx

^yeah! He told me he knows of people that have done it. I dunno, I think it depends on how lucky you are weather wise!I assume I wouldnt be a traditional bride if we did haha.xx
