I'm glad your husband is looking after you. He is a good man, keeping you safe. Trust him and trust in God, your Heavenly Father, who always loves you and wants the best for you. You should never be hurt ever, but loved. Love yourself just as you are loved by God.

Am wearing finger less gloves it just hides the tattoo i want to get another tattoo over it but its a lot of money for it and we don't have much money as there are other things we are needing and am on disability benefits

May you could write and draw there instead for now? Maybe draw an angel, or a heart? Or a dove like the one in my avatar to remind you of the Holy Spirit? Something to focus you on the positive.

Am going to church on Sunday with my husband my friend will be doing the service with another minster ... hopefully its not so busy but its will be the first time av been to church in about a year

Just found this post. Yay. Am a christian, saved when i was fourteen, and also SI. I started SI when i was 20, im now 26, and still struggling with it. Its good to know that there are other christians struggling with the same things and im not a complete weirdo, as well as hopefully people who understand as currently having issues with my church not understanding.

God's writing on your heart is a stronger imprint than any tattoo. I know it has to be hard though, to see a symbol of something that runs counter to your beliefs. The verse in your signature talks about standing firm against the enemy's schemes. One of those schemes is to discourage you and try to get you to believe that a mark on your arm defines you more than the spirit inside you. You are forever God's no matter anything that is whispered to you.

We sang this hymn in Holy Communion this morning and it is one of my favourites, it always uplifts me and helps me connect with God. It's a great hymn to sing or speak at the beginning of the day, as well as throughout it.
Hating yourself and problems etc are what will keep you blocked out from your inner peace, grace etc. Hate is a negative energy that separates a person from their brighter nature. "Resist not evil" is better thought of as "don't resent/hate evil". Evil wants people to hate because thats how it pulls people out of their tree and away from their original child like (not childish) state. You don't have to like problems, bad people etc - just give up hating them and become objective/observational. Grace comes in between the highs of false loves and the lows of real hate
