I have a duvan bed.
Meaning its basically a block. But the block has draws.
And I'm getting a new bed.
So I'm cleaning out the draws.
Which haven't been cleaned out since about 2004.
So Old memories maaan.
Found my prom leavers book.
Which brought a little tear to my eye.
And old Posters of Busted.
Because I was OBSESSED.
Haha.
Books from when I was a little kid.
Found an "animals of farthing wood" book.
Who remembers that?!
=]
What stuff have you got tucked away in your room/house?
And climb high to the highest rung, to shake fists at the sky.
Omg I love the animals od farthing wood I have a video of it =]
You know those old videos where they had a mix of loads of kids shows it was on one of them
=]
You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.
yeahh man today i found baare family pictures from my childhood because i was making a collage on the wall of my old room.
so now it looks like thisssssssss. yay.
//
i also basically keep EVERYTHINGGGGG. i keep such weird stuff too. like old receipts from special places & stuff like clothes tags if someone bought me it. and i don't know. loads of weird things.
In my room back home is just all the crap I didn't bring with me to uni shoved under my bed, along with many empty alchahol bottles and pens and beads and stuff.
My mum had a lovely time cleaning it all. =/
There is also the big box of memories though, full of LOTR memorabillia, photos, calenders, old notebooks and sketchbooks, random treasures, that sort of thing.
In my wardrobe I used to have stuff like my books from primary school, and my year six leaving t shirt all scribbled on with messages! I think it's all been put in the loft now.
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.
Ive got alot of odd stuff in a cardboard box under my telly
i had a look at it the otherday
thers a toy doll rider person in there
and i can still remember the name i gave her
SHe as called Carrie, and "her horse" was this oddly coloured cream thing with brown hair called arrabella
there's about thirty notebooks i've wrote in since i was eleven haha. they get more depressing and woe.
and a lot of old school exercise books i've kept. and a sketch book full of really bad drawings.
and a photo album of things i wanted to buy when i was 11. like, tents and cameras and duvet sets. SAD.
it is depressing to look through.
Haha oh god I was just about to post something exactly like that.
I used to go through argos catlogues and write down everything I wanted. It was a lot!
See I cannot feel this, not matter how you try and in the real world, there's no goodbyes.
i have so much stuff everywhere i dont even know what is there.
" my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you" you were carried out of are lifes into the next and when its my time to leave this life I know i will be carried into the next life with you.
I wish i had my world complete again.
'Can we protend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, i could really use a wish right now' BoB
I have TONNS of stuff under my bed, shoeboxs full of tickets and letters and photos a box full of magazines, my sewing box (why it's under my bed I don't know) stuff like, cardboard and things I 'saved' as they might be useful one day. haha makes me laugh.
I don't have collect/save alot of crap.
Life can be beautiful if you let it.
Step back, breathe and take it in
I have a 'special' box that I keep all the important stuff in. My mum started it. It's got my baby boots and primary school books and stuff. First dress I wore, etc.
But I do have one in my room which is starry and it keeps recent things in there, like a token to the fair, pictures, letters, etc.
Ohh I have everything because I keep everything.
It can be so depressing to look through sometimes though.
"Be nice. Think happy thoughts. Champion silver linings. Love all things (not just cute things like babies and kittens) & when you do love - love like they do in power ballads (you know like on a cliff with the wind in your hair and your eyes shut, knowing you'll never know love like this). Watch out for dog poo. Smile at people - even grumpy ones. Remember anything is possible & whatever you do always try to look on the bright side."
I've been sorting out my bedroom at my Mum's because she's moving house and have found so many childhood memories, I have a shoebox full of all sorts of things, random Christian books from when I went through a religious phase, a model of Toad from Farthing wood, hair clips and best of all my leavers book from year 11, I'm not in contact with many of the people who wrote in it now, but it's lovely reading and remembering all the stuff I got up to.
I no longer have a room back home, so I have everything here. I also moved like a year ago so everything was sorted out. I don't really have much crap besides stuff from my goth days.
