Switching behaviours
I'm currently working on stopping binging and purging, and I haven't binged for over a week now, which seems great and I should be happy with that. The only problem is that my intakes have gone way down, and I've been purging meals that aren't even particularly big. I basically just seem to be swapping bulimic behaviour for anorexic behaviour. My therapist seems quite happy to let me eat these smaller intakes if I'm not binging and purging, but I'm eating less than I told her I was and didn't mention the purging. Losing a little weight feels pretty good and I kind of want to continue, but at the same time, I do genuinely want to give recovery a go. It's so confusing. Sorry for the ramble, just wanted to get it off my chest.
