I am currently:
How can I ask my parents for help?

I want to tell my parents I need therapy but I dont want to tell them everything just yet. I will tell them eventually but I dont want to tell them all the personal things too soon as I dont want them to worry.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to ask them for me to speak to someone?

Thanks :)

Are you at school/college? If you feel unable to ask your parents there might be support and counselling available to you through school/college. You could maybe write something for your parents so you can plan exactly what you want to say and what you're ok with sharing. If you don't want to tell them lots of stuff it's ok to just say that you need to talk to someone out with your family and that you think you'd benefit from some kind of therapy. I think most people need an objective person to talk to at times so I'd hope your parents would understand. I know that they might be worried about you though. You could say that you don't want to share everything with them at the moment but that you will share more things with time. Or is there another adult you trust who might be able to ask your parents for you/with you?

I hope you can work something out.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.
