HOW TO TELL HIM? :(!!... <3

so iv been speaking to a guy for a while now&we went on a date a couple of days ago, i reallylike him! He seems to really like me and we just... Gel?!
However, he doesn't know about me self harming.he hasn't seen my arms and i don't even think he knows I'm in care. How do i tell him? Or do i tell him at all?! I cant hide it from him if this turns out to be long term, but at the same time i don't want to not tell him and then him find out and run a mile? HELP?!

my arms are really bad&my legs are no better! I'm scared ill tell him and hell go off me :(

Hi there,

Personally I'd wait and see how things go with him. For me, I've not told a partner until I know things are getting serious.

There's no reason to hide it really, if he's worth anything he'll accept you as you are. However, I know it can be something scary to admit. When/if you do it, I'd say just be honest with him. There's no point beating around the bush with it.

Either way, I hope things work out.

I think the best to look in a guy is that he will understand all what you're going through x If he really does feel a lot he will support you through it.

If he does understand, do you think you'll be able to self harm less and hopefully come to a stop?

In all honesty, I haven't told my husband who I've been with for 6 years about my past at all, but I was lucky enough to not have as bad of scars as I once did before we started dating. I'd wait for awhile and see what happens.
