Hi =]
Hhm i overdose a lot,and i'm guessing overdoses cause a lot of damage. But with the damage ive already done to my liver,will that always be there?
Seems a stupid question,but i wanted to know.
If i stopped(which is very unlikely) taking overdoses,and never take another one of the rest of my life,would the damage slowly help itself?

The liver is the only organ in the body whch has the abilty to heal itself. Yes it canheal the damage done to it. However, if you keep causing damage, it may one day become irreversable. So it would be a good idea to get help and look at the reasons why you OD in order toprevent further damage.

taking an overdose many times can cause serious damage.The liver can repair itself but as kim said if you continue to OD it may not repair its self.

But why do you think you need them?
C'mon love, we're here to help you. If you feel comfortable, let us in a bit more, we're willing to help. There are always other ways to get what you want, ways that won't damage you so badly.

The first time i ever took an overdose was in November 2005. The reason behind it seems stupid now. It was around that time i started to s/h. The first maybe 10 overdoses they were reasons. But as time went on and the overdoses mounted up,i didn't need a reason to take them,i just got desperate. When i take them it doesnt feel like i'm doing anything wrong,just feels like something you have to do,like eat. Seems stupid,but overdosing is my getaway,it's the only thing that takes me away from life.
I guess i'm screwed,but it's too late now.

It's not too late to recover if you really try. Please try and stop ODing, you can cause yourself some really serious damamge if you don't stop. It's an addiciton like SI but you can get through it and find other ways of coping.
