Home-made Xmas Gift Ideas? (I'm being super-prepared this year ><)
So I'm hopeless at being organised with Xmas, but for some reason I'm feeling a bit inspired this year (I'm an atheist, so I have no idea why xD) and wanted to make some really nice presents for my friends ^.^
Does anyone have any ideas for what would make a nice home-made gift? I was thinking of something like jewellery or maybe ornamental?
Photo frames!can get cheap ones and then pick up paint samples from a DIY store to paint them.
Home made biscuits/chocolates/cakes.
Painted glasses, cheap glasses and you can but glass paint online for not much money.
You can make up little hampers depending on the people....like you can do a relaxation one....have a nice candle, some non expensive chocolates and a small bottle of bubble bath.
OH! you can do ingredients jars for say cookies....fill a jar with the weighed out measures of flour/sugar etc.....print the instructions, you can give them a wooden spoon too!
I made a door hanging for myself, I bought a wooden O (my names olivia) painted it pastel purple and stuck 3 buttons on it, tis super cute!
Tea cup candles! You can get cheap tea cups in a lot of charity shops....you can make the candles by recyling old candles or buying cheap ones.

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

Liv seemed to have the best ideas, the only thing I can add is that on a year I was strapped for cash I made my GF 100 origami cranes.
I wanted to make 100 stars but I didn't have the skill at the time to do i right.
but jars of origami stars are a good cheap gift, very colourful and show you really care for the person because you spent all that time making them.

Is a chocolate muffin loving glitter ball
My ideas:
- friendship bracelets
- like people suggested about photos, you can get decent frames in poundland with space for three photos, so you could put photos in two of them, then maybe write something personalised or a poem or something for the last hole
If you're an artsy type, buy some polymer clay and chains/leather/hemp cord to make some cute bracelets and necklaces! I'm thinking about doing this this year as you can really personalise them for each person with different designs, themes and characters. You can find some inspiration on etsy :)
People have suggested glitter jars for care packages on here, but I don't see why you couldn't give them for Christmas as well. All it needs is a jar, some water and little bits of confetti and glitter to go inside, and they're so cute.
As above have said, little baked treats are always appreciated!
If you're in to sewing you could go traditional and make some scarves, socks, pillows or cuddly toys. If you don't have the money / time / tools to make something like that, cross-stitch a painting of something the person likes and put it in a cute frame.
For a girl, homemade lip scrubs, face masks and little beauty products like that are easy to make. Most of them only need kitchen ingredients, and they can be pretty effective too! There are plenty of tutorials on youtube if you give it a little search.
I really love griddlebone's idea of hampers, too! A relaxation hamper with an inexpensive eye mask, candles, a relaxation mix CD and some packets of hot chocolate would be nice. :)
I can give you a recipe for candy cane cupcakes if you want! Its different from the usual cinnamon/dried fruit cakes that people usually make.
This year Im going to make mulled wine infused cupcakes!x

I would just like to say that you are all amazing! I love some of these ideas and may well steal them!!!

Earring holders? Just need a picture frame, some fabric to cover the middle with and then something like lace to attack across the middle to hang earrings on, they're really cheap and easy to make but look really good!
