christmas and that.

Yeah its October, i dont care.

the last 4 or 5 years i have spent christmas alone, but apparently having a child makes your more obliged to be sociable and visit family.

so, ive gone from no christmas presents to buy to this year having to buy for (on top of stuart and squishy face (what do you even buy a 5 month old?))

13 PEOPLE!!

ranging from 82 to 2. and one will be flying back to australia after christmas so we need to get him something small but awesome.

i need to start buying now so that i can afford it.

bah humbug.

(on a side note, im well excited about having 2 big family christmases)

Little Christmas outfits sound so cute!

Buying Christmas presents is so expensive. :(

Hope you have an awesome couple of Christmas extravaganzas though! :)

I think you are allowed to put different hats on him... a reindeer one, a father christmas one, one that looks like a christmas tree....

This!

And Charlie, just reading this thread makes me excited for you three having your first christmas as a family!

Maybe we could have a Christmas gift idea thread. Because I am crap at buying for men and my father is rude enough to have a birthday ten days before Christmas which means double present woes!

I am aware that I have overused exclamation marks in this thread :'(

my nephew has the same birthday as your dad.
a 2 year old is probably a lot easier to buy for though.

I've already started burning my Christmas candles. :D

I also agree on dressing squishy face up!

I suck at buying presents. My dad is also rude enough to have a birthday 11 days after Christmas! D:

My dad's birthday is boxing day, he is the hardest man to buy for. We just buy him a bunch of presents, split them in half and give him half on christmas, half on his birthday

My dad's the easy one to buy for. He'll just tell me the things he wants - gives me a selection of choices and everything. :P

It's my mum that's hard work!

you need to go and visit father christmas and have a photo taken!!!
thats what i'd do.

Oliver will probably like all the shiny lights and paper and everything, Jasmine is fascinated with shiny things at the moment (she tried to steal my mum's diamond necklace, literally grabbed it)

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

See for my dad, whenever I try and find out what he wants, it's always the same answer; 'don't worry about me/don't spend your/too much money on me'
