What Are Your Fav Phone Apps?

I have been a strict mobile phone shunner but I finally broke down and got an Android (Samsung). I was wondering if people have any apps they like a lot

So far I've only added Opera Mini since it gives the web page at reduced size so you save data space used.

I don't want to do the social sites on phone (I hardly use them on PC - I'm lazy and need more peeps lol). I'm leery of all the privacy invasions and data harvesting.

I will also get apps to track bikes rides, runs and walks. So far that means RunKeeper will be added.

I like news republic for a news app. Been using it for years. Using 'Buzz' as my launcher atm. If you're into customizing your homescreens.

Lol that's funny. We did have a bear on the loose here a few months ago. Maybe I'll make a new App. I'll call it "Bear Foot"

I just realised I have to figure out how to answer the dang phone lol. I just got a call - the screen lit up - I pressed the green phone icon and - nothing. I guess I have to swipe or go to alerts page or something. Oh well IO guess its better than answering the phone accidentally by pressing screen in my pocket. That's what would happen with my non-android "feature" phone. I shall now call myself and practice lol

Isoverity, you might have to drag the green button across the screen to the right. I do and it's still confusing after more than a year!

That sounds good and I'll look into that one. I watched about a dozen "10 Must Have Apps For Android" videos on youtube and so far the only one I'm sure I'll get is Swiss Army Knife (for the compass, stopwatch etc)

Great, glad to be of help! If you click on where the notifications are, there should be a "clear list" button on top right hand corner?

The apps I use the most RT News and Unite Now, they have things that interest me. Oh and Snapchat and WhatsApp.

Not really an app, but I'd be lost without imessenger - its great for stalking people and seeing whether they just haven't read it or whether you're being ignored.

Simpsons Tapped Out, quite liking that at the moment!
Plague Inc. for casually wiping out humanity while you're on the bus
And Aldiko, you can read word/PDF files etc and I download my open uni books onto it. Quite handy!
And Sleepbot, so I can track how many hours I sleep and it puts it on a cool little graph! My old psych recommends it to everyone now!

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

You press the button before you go to sleep.
If say, you take an hour to get to sleep, you can edit it the next day and just add an hour to the 'fell asleep' time!
It can also track movement and sound.
And tells you the average amount of hours you sleep
