i think i need help?
I'm not sure if this is in the right place but lately i've had a lot of urges when walking don the street to take peoples children, i've been so close to actually doing it several times!
i had an abortion when i was 16, could this be a cause? should i see the doctor?
I'm on anti-depressants and have attempted suicide before and am currently seeing a mental health nurse. I'm just really scared.

Hi there. I would suggest calling your nurse and talking to her about it as the first thing to do. It may have something to do with the abortion but its hard to say. I too had an abortion a few years back and I found it terribly hard so I sympathise.

First of all well done for opening up and being honest with us about how you are feeling. That takes alot, so well done you. =)
Have you spoke things through with anyone, other than us at this site? Maybe someone in 'real life'. Maybe your nurse if you can or doctor. Clearly this is worrying you honey and the more support you get with this and passed issues, the better and less frequent the feelings you are experiencing now will be.
Did you have professional help after you had the abortion?
Take care,
here if you need anything.
Chloe. xx

Hi, I agree with the advice you have already been given, you need to see your nurse or the doctor and talk to them.

i didnt have any sort of counselling no, i feel ive coped with the grief reasonably well all things considered, but for sum reason its becoming like a need to have a child, my friend has a daughter the same age as mine would be (assuming i had a girl) and i keep calling her the name i planned for my child, the thinking of the child doesnt worry so much, i think of her most days, its the urge to take someone elses.. but im going to see my doctor tomorrow, thanks for all your support :)

I would definately tell your Dr. about this because it sounds like you have a lot of unresolved issues and these need to be adressed before you do something that will hurt you and maybe a child.
I dont know if tomorrow is tomorrow or today but I just want to say good luck for it.
