Hey,
So, there's a few members on here that i'm pretty close with, and a couple have recently been admitted to a psych ward, I was thinking that it'd be nice to send them a package with distractions and things to make them smile in it, but i'm pretty stuck for ideas, so I thought i'd ask if anyone else had any? Thanks, Charlie.

Some of life's mysteries will never be solved, such as why, after spending an entire evening listenong to Bach, do I find myself humming "the birdie song".......
I am reaching, but i fall, and the stars are black and cold, as i stare into the void of a world that cannot hold- les miserables
Thanks everyone, i've already got:
A letter
A poem I wrote for her
Some little bits of paper with messages saying things like 'I love you' and 'You're beautiful' etc,
A penguin keyring which I made myself,
A bracelet,
Glitter,
A list of support numbers,
The big distractions list,
Perfume samples (I find the smells calming)
Stickers,
Little instant hot chocolate sachets.
When I get paid I need to get a new notebook, some sweets and some scented gel pens :) I know there's a lot there, but for some reason, I still don't feel like it's enough, I need more ideas lol

Toy puzzles.
Sweeties.
Deck of cards/card tricks.
You could also make your own Zine for them to read, fill them with articles, jokes, pictures and activities that you find interesting/you think they'll find interesting.
This is such a lovely idea. For me, receiving a letter meant the world so I am sure that whatever you include in your packages will be a massive boost for your friends. x
I think a colouring book or puzzle book is a must as it's something to do.

it would take some work, so might be best if they're in for a longer stay, but you could make some sort of photo album of things that you've done together, and then write notes about what you remember from when the photos were taken... could help remind them of happier times and happy memories
this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.
The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.
