I think Tim Burton films?

A favourite film of mine is The Others. Don't know if it'd be described as Gothic though. The Crow is great.

There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Terry Pratchett

Ginger Snaps and Ginger Snaps II are my top two favorite films. :)

Otherwise, Stoker, May, The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo, The Craft, Orphan, The Raven, Underworld, Constantine, The Rite, Donnie Darko, Hide and Seek, Willard, Sleepy Hollow... those are just a few off the top of my head.

"The Haunting" - the first one from 1963. Its directed by Robert Wise and its creepy without showing anything graphic

"The Haunting is a 1963 British psychological horror film directed and produced by Robert Wise and adapted by Nelson Gidding from the 1959 novel The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. It stars Julie Harris, Claire Bloom, Richard Johnson, and Russ Tamblyn. The film, about a small group of people invited by a paranormal investigator to stay at a haunted house that comes to life, is often cited as one of the most frightening films ever made."
