I'm glad you made it through the night, please keep fighting even if the voices start again. I hope the crisis lounge helps. Do you know what support is offered there?

Not really. The ambulance lady said they have activities and one to one support, but I don't know what that actually means. I might not even go, depends if we can make s suitable safety plan.

I woke up this morning with no voices but they came back at breakfast.

I looked at all my options and decided to stay safe until I see my CPN or psych but I don't know when that will be so I'm finding it hard to stick to. The Crisis Lounge was ok, I was the only patient there and it helped me to stay safe a couple of hours.

Please stick to your decision even if it's hard. Are you able to go to the crisis lounge again or are you getting any other support right now?

Crisis Lounge is weekends only, so I need my CPN really. I texted him this afternoon but got no reply. I hope he's not ill (purely selfishly!)

What do you think the chances are of my CPN contacting me today? I think today is going to be another difficult day. I've got to stay alive until Thursday because my brother is graduating tomorrow.

I think you should fight to stay alive way past Thursday too, people would be very upset to lose you. Are you going to your brother's graduation?

Can you phone the CMHT if your CPN doesn't get in touch to find out what's happening and let someone know you need some extra support?

I'm not going to the ceremony but the family are going out in the evening.

I can't call the CMHT unless it's really crucial, I hate phone calls.

I just rang the CMHT, they said my CPN was in, did I want to leave an answer phone message? I said I would text him.

If I do talk to or see my CPN, what do I say?

Also I am finding it hard to eat today. Any encouragement?

Me again! I've realised that I'm afraid to stay alive because of the voices but I am also scared of dying. Not sure what to do with that.

Have you been able to get in touch with your CPN? Maybe just let him know what's going on and that you are struggling with the voices and struggling to stay safe/alive?

I guess there is the possibility of the voices getting quieter or easier to deal with if you stay alive. Dying removes that possibility. There is definitely pros and cons to both.

Thinking of you.

The ambulance lady said she would get my CPN to contact me yesterday and I have texted him yesterday and today. I also called the CMHT who said he was working .

I'm a bit nervous about tomorrow. I told myself I could end it tomorrow but the voices haven't been as bad so maybe I don't need to? But staying alive is really scarey.

I haven't heard from anyone yet.

I completely understand how staying alive is scary. Is there someone you can call, even if it's the Samaritans or a crisis line? That way you could at least talk it through with someone? x

Staying alive is scary, but I think the process of dying can be scarier and no one really knows what happens after we die. It's best to work with what we know I think, the scary things in life can be manageable if you have some support. Maybe there are other ways of coping with the voices, have you ever tried a peer support group? Please take care.

I used to go to a hearing voices group but it wasn't helpful.
