Hi,

This looks like it might be the right place, but let me know if not. I appear to be one of the older members on this forum at 26. I've been self harming since I was 10 - I'm currently about 5 years free, and struggling really badly right now. I was doing a google search and came across this place, and I'm hoping I can get some support through this tough time? But I also want to give back, when I was younger I had so much support, not that I appreciated it at the time, but I just want to help some of you guys, if I can.

Ryl is great place for support of mental health, not just for Si. The vets forums can be quiet tho.
The forums are moderated because ryl is about recovery and support, noT.'tip sharing' in the sense of better ways to harm, but I'm pretty sure recovery tips are ok. Definitely read forum rules posted in the stickys on each board.
I've been a member for years and have recently returned for support, so I hope you feel welcome. It truly helped me earlier in my life and I'm hoping the support helps now.

Thank you guys :) Have to admit, I made a post here and on 'introductions' and then kind of forgot about this place. Takes some getting used to I guess. Anyways, thanks again for the welcome :)
