Also why oh why do batteries hate me. Support worker is having to bring a fair few kinds when she comes in because the only 'helpful' information on remaining DVD battery is the word (no joke) 'gritty' 0.o

I think technology has a secret pact against me, not that I'm paranoid or anything :P Then again it must have an even more secret pact against my dad who despite being (which I taught him so Mum hates me) an Amazon and Ebay maniac for old records or whatever still needs her to turn their computer on, and log into their email, and get on the internet in the first place. Tbf this provides my mother with a handy bargaining chip 'if you walk the dog I'll turn the computer on' or similar :P
