When I was at a young and impressionable age my dad told me that the reason theres wires in the tunnel of the tube train is so that the driver can stop the tube with his arm, that he stuck his arm out the window and grabbed the wire which stopped the train. I only found out about 8 months ago that that was actually a lie. My dad laughed so hard when he realised I had believed him lol.

I'm too lazy to edit my posts.... when I was about 6 my parents told me that they were going to get the loft converted so I could have my bedroom there.... I started crying & when they asked what was wrong I said I didn't want to sleep with all the cobwebs!

They laughed - a lot - & my dad still brings it up!

Holland is technically part of the Netherlands. It's a province within the Netherlands. So they are sort of two different places. In a way.

Whilst I don't believe it, I have told all of my friends that Haggisses have one leg shorter than the other, so they are only able to run around the hill one way, and the hill is where they live. so if you want to catch a Haggis, run around the hill the other way and you will get one because they can not turn around and run the other way.

Most of my friends believed me.

Well clearly your friends don't know much about food because the haggis is the innards of a sheep boiled in it's own intestines with barley and wheat. quite tasty really.

When i saw sheep with marks spray painted on their sides (used so the farmers can identify their flock) i used to think that mark was perminant and that's why most wool garments were dyed various colours, to cover the spray paint.

The worrying thing is, I tell my friends the truth of what a haggis is before I tell them the story. And they still believe me.

When I was younger I thought that to be on tv you had to climb through all the wires and cables at the back of the tv set... Once my mother walked in on me crying because I thought I was too fat to be on tv 'cause I couldn't fit through all the wires (which I completely disemboweled :D).

We told my friend Amy if she could find Gotham City on a map or the world we'd take her on holiday there.

I thought monsters were going to come out of the toilet at home when I flushed it so I'd flush and run downstairs as fast as possible to stop them getting me. Hehe. Can't remember what age I stopped that.

I thought the same, except I thought that it was ghosts, because the flushing noise sounded how I thought a ghost would!
