Hm I've been hearing about masochism a lot lately.
OT.

I'm sorry your like this...I think at one point most SI'ers do enjoy what they're doing. It's like a big circle and you just keep going around the circle.

Let's put a smile on that face

We are not alone
Find out when your cover's blown
There'll be somebody there to break your fall
We are not alone
'Cause when you cut down to the bone
We're really not so different after all

I've never personally self-harmed as an alternitive to suciude, it's always been for other conplex reasons but never to atend to my killself.
As others have said it's sometimes partly because of 'a release'

im not really to comfertable w/ talking to my parents, the only reason they even knew i "was suicidal at a point in time" was b/c of a slip of the tounge to a teacher. i personally like to keep to myself so idk if i'd rly talk to them about it

"There is no hazy line. If I'm suicidal I want to die, I have lost hope. When I'm self-injuring, I want to relieve the emotional pain and keep on living. Suicide is a permanent exit. Self-injury gets me through the moment."
It's the same way for me!
