Sending lots of love to you and Molly. I know things with your family can be challenging, so I hope you are able to get closure and grieve in as safe of a way as possible.
Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.
You can't always keep it separate.
This is happening, this is part of you.
I can understand that feeling. There is so much going on for you right now inside of yourself and outside of yourself. Do you want to talk about how you are?
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.
Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.
I now have the funeral date. Don't quite know how I'm going to cope being so physically close to my 9 year sexual abuser (haven't seen him in 14 years) and still focus in the important things: her, her service, she has the preacher she wanted, and a fairly rubbish poem from me.
How I can be this selfish when everyone else in the family etc is grieving as well...but I;m cut out of all of that because my abuser;s wife (and maybe him-maybe in the run up Definitely there for funeral( will be there so it would be awkward,. Best I remain in the shadows where everyone wants me.
I feel so low and something as stupid as a sodding date has sent me west. How I;m going to keep on putting the smile up no idea.

Your smile is not something you are obliged to give to anyone but the people who make you want to smile. And if your family can't behave themselves during a funeral then they are, quite frankly, a disgrace.
Buttons, this is your Grandma's funeral and she would have wanted you to attend. You have as much right to grieve and say goodbye as everyone else!!!! The people who hurt you have no right to make you feel unwelcome or unwanted. She was your family!!! Which is more than can be said about those who choose not to believe your part of the story.
Go there Buttons!!!! Say goodbye. Don't let them take this from you!!!!!
