Has anyone ever suggested anything helpful for you to get through those 48 hours rather than ending up needing input from A&E or the CMHT etc? Not that it's not ok to use them, but if things like this are happening often it would be great if you could have a plan in place to not let things get so heightened, and allow yourself to get in touch with someone before you're at breaking point. How are you doing now?

Are crisis contacting you today? Is there anything you can do to lift your mood?

Overdosing won't help the situation at all. What's causing these strong urges, do you know?

Are there things you can do to help with lifting your mood rather than waiting it out and focusing on the urges?

Maybe you could try accepting that they're there but remember you don't have to act on them. If you're fighting with them all the time it will just make them seem bigger but if you try to just look after yourself and stay distracted you might find the urges pass without you even realising for a while.

How are you doing today?

Are things any more manageable today? Do you want to talk through anything?

The thoughts wont stop!
They're really loud and strong. They wont shut up. I have tried some distractions:listening to music, watching youtube and going for a walk. The walk seemed to help a little but now they're back.
Part of me wants to do it. Just because it shuts them up!!!!

Well done for trying hard with the distractions, you're doing great.
Is there anyone you could talk to who could help you distract as well, so that you're not fighting the urges on your own?

We may not see eye to eye, but we can respect each other's opinions and find the truth in them.
Perhaps in those honest conversations, instead of demonising each other,
we might see each other as imperfect humans, doing our best. ~ Jodi Picoult

Maybe your Crisis Team and your CMHT can get together and come up with a plan to keep you at home but safe as well. Do you have any ideas about what might help?

Oh dear, that's not good. How are you with phone calls? Could you get in contact with your GP?

How has your day been?
