Sometimes i feel like i'm the only person not on it! Everyone i know or talk to seems to be and everywhere on the web people seem to be talking about it!! I never had an interest in it. I am on facebook but hardly use it, twitter never interested me in the slightest.
I made a Twitter account a couple of years ago, but have never used it. I am very uninteresting at the best of times. Thinking of starting one again, though, as I have noticed a few voluntary opportunities that include the upkeep of the organisation's Twitter account and feel I could use the practice.
I use Twitter because a few good friends don't have Facebook and only use Twitter. I also follow a few celebrities who I like and tweet them sometimes (and sometimes get responses!). I like Twitter (:

I got one years ago, never used it, then went through a stage of being on it 24/7, now I'm back to only using it occasionally. Like GliterTrahsDoll said, it's good for following celebs (and I find writers tend to reply for some reason) and also I have a met a crapload of people from band fandoms I like. It can be fun at times!
