The petition was set up a month before the referendum results by a Leave campaigner. Which people seem to be forgetting. I actually signed it before the referendum myself because I was concerned that a close split would descend into chaos/arguements, which it has.
Plus Farage said he would push for a second referendum if it was a 52/48 split in Remain's favor, so I don't get why the majority of the Leave camp are telling the Remain camp to stop over reacting over this!
While I accept that it is highly unlikely that it will change the results of last week. I think this is something that needs to be thought about for any future yes/no votes. Especially if it had been 49.9 leave/50.1 remain like Moray council up in Scotland had.
I also agree and believe that both those who wanted to remain and those thatwanted to leave need to stop arguing with each other over it, the arguments I have been witnessing over the past day are truly shocking, it is like being back in Primary school and falling out over stupid things!
