Reluctance for meds

I was on meds for depression, gradually came off them under supervision. Not taken them since late summer.
Have recently fallen into severe depression and have been repreprescribed meds. But I just can't take them..I dont really know why..its almost like my mood is too low to care about taking them and feeling better as I have nothing left to look forward to.
Has anyone else not taken meds even though the need them??
I really don't know how I'll get through this :(
