Errrm....Help? I think everyone had their power out but now theirs is back on and ours is still off.
I'm home alone, it's dark and cold and I'm maybe a little bit scared.

First world problems, I know.

Can people just talk at me for a little while?

Could your power still be off due to your electricity switch thing having tripped??

^ go and look in the cupboard to see if you need to switch it back on. If you have no idea what you're looking at ask a neighbour?

How's the power situation?

I could be in a similar predicament soon. I have no idea how much electricity I have left, but I've put the heating on. Living life on the edge...

Hi guys. So, that was awkward. Just after posting this last night, my phone battery died.
My dad managed to come round this morning to sort it out and he's shown me what to do in case it happens again.

Theres nothing more traumatic than a power trip. Last time that happened to me I hysterically phoned an old work colleague who is an electrician, thought it was hilare that I didn't know what to do, and he'll probably never let me live it down.
I enjoy the excuse for a good old candle though.

Oh no! I'm glad you're okay now. Definitely get a torch and keep it in one place so you have some light in case it happens again. You could also get an external battery pack for your phone and keep it charged so you have extra battery.

When I lived alone a few years ago my power tripped out. I knew it had tripped but was too scared to touch the fuse box so my dad had to come round and do it for me.
