A few people do - but it was getting repetitive and it was the same people sending/receiving them every single issue. Every issue also got fewer and fewer sent in, I think last Issue we had 2 or 3 sent in whereas months ago we go 20 or so sent in.

I am saddened that the Oliver Cromwell fact is wrong, Christmas was banned in the early 1640's by the Long Parliament. Not Cromwell. And it was the feasts associated with it more than anything. They also did this with the Easter and Whitsun feasts.
I have no idea where you have been getting your facts about Germany from but a number of them are wrong.
- The Nikolaustag as it is described seems like a very out-dated one. I don't no anyone who does it that way. Usually people put their boot or similar in front of their bedroom doors and find chocolate and small presents in them the next morning.
- I've never ever heard anyone saying "Kriss Kringel". Santa is "Weinachtsmann" (= Christmas Man) in German. There might be regional variations in addition though. But it's definitely not a common term.
- The Christmas bonus is NOT regulated by law. Though I have to say even here a lot of people think it is. It is up to your work place if and how much money to pay you for a Christmas bonus. E.g. my work pay X% (genuinely don't know the number) of your income of the very year. And some companies don't pay any at all.
So please be careful with the source you got those facts from as they are out-dated and some of them just incorrect.
My source: being a German myself. :P
Also, I was wondering about if there are others who aren't too thrilled with the fact that make up and clothes are taking up so much space (or at least what feels like a lot of space to me) of the eZine.
It's not taking up that much room - only 2 each. We try and cater to everyone, and we know there is alot of people who are interested in that, whereas the recipes and facts and birthdays take up 6 pages. So the beauty/fashion only takes up a tiny section in comparison.

Fair point and as people are interested it should of course be in the eZine. It probably seems like a lot more to me because I don't like it. :P
I wasn't to bothered just figured as I was posting here anyway I might just as well bring it up. :P
