cutting i was 12
but thinking back i did used to pull my hair out when i was about 7 or 8 not sure. It was always in a small area on the top of my head torards the back and about the size of a 10p. when there was no hair left there i would pick my scalp off untill it blead. my mum notesed the batch and took mt the doctors for it and they didnt know what it was and gave me some shampoo.

I always used to say 12, which was the age I started cutting, but going through DBT and looking at Life events and such made me realise that actually I started biting/hitting myself at around 6 or 7 when my parents got divorced.

I have been giving myself bruises for as long as I can remember, when I was 8 I started digging my nails into my skin until it bled, and I started cutting only about 7 months ago actually.

Pulling out my hair and eyelashes when stressed since I was little, like 3-5 maybe. Hitting myself since about 8, but I didn't know any of this was self harm until later. Cutting since 13, burning since 14. Trying to stop now, at 16.

Started being aware of myself SIing at about 12 years old but I've done it in the past when I was a lot younger now I look back and realise what it was.
|

The first time I actually hurt myself when I was around 7 or something.
I got extremely mad at my mom and step dad and dug my nails into my hands/wrists and tore the skin off.
It terrified me, so I didn't do it again.
Then I purposely began harming myself in 7th grade, but stopped at 8th grade, and now I'm in 9th grade and cutting again.
