I do not need to cut because I have people to talk to.
I do not need to cut because I have a family and friends who care about me.
I do not need to cut because it will not solve anything.
I do not need to cut because it will only lead to more scars and disappointed friends.
I do not need to cut because I am loved.
I do not need to cut because I have become a better person.
I do not need to cut because what I went through should be over with by now.
I do not need to cut because I have to focus on my schoolwork.
I do not need to cut because I have to focus on possibly becoming a counselor to help people like me.
I do not need to cut because I don't want my boyfriend to get upset.
I do not need to cut because I don't want my friend Josh to get upset

I don’t need to cut because my future career needs me to be healthy
I don’t need to cut because I recently got back in contact with 2 old friends and that makes me happy

I don't need to self harm because I've been through so much pain already, and while I sometimes can't control some of the pain I've gone through I can control the pain I inflict on myself. So I won't harm, because I'm worth treating kindly, I deserve that.

I don't want to cut because it will be spring soon and I would like to sometimes wear short sleeves.

I dont want to cut because I go swimming and obviously you cant go swimming with fresh cuts. Also people will stare and I dont want that. Also I go with my Auntie Kerris, and it will be a bit awkward explaining since she doesnt know that I cut.

I dont want to cut because my voices (which have been the major source of the problem) are well controlled.

I dont want to cut because the majority of the stresses in my life are gone.

I dont want to cut because I can deal with bad things much better including flashbacks of the sexual abuse.

I do not want to cut because if I have fresh wounds I can't get a tattoo.

I do not want to cut because I do not want to tell people I slipped up again. But I can't lie either

I do not want to cut because if I go away this year I want to get my legs out. Even though they are scarred...I might be able to tell some people if it's "in the past"
