General Medical Question - Urgent - ouch! *mentions OD*

been having mild/severe lower adominal pains for 2months, everytime i go to the doctor about it he takes a urine sample and tests come back fine.

the pain gets worse after i have eaten.
i have not changed my diet in anyway and is definatly not period cramp.

i just spoke to a nurse from NHSdirect and told me to see a pharmasist in the morning but i cant take pain killers (cos of previous OD reasons) so i dont know what to do for the pain tonight, tried having bath etc but nothing is helping!! can you suggest anything??

the pain has just spread around my lower back and the nurse told me to ring back if that happens, but im scared of what it may be if it wasnt detected in the urine test, im scared of ringing back.

RIP james fisher xxx u will be missed greatly.

Yeah, make sure you call back!
It could be anything really; a virus, inflammation, diet...anything really. Doesn't mean it's serious so cheak it out! :)

Without an exam its hard to tell what it might be. So its worth speaking to your doctor. if your urine sample comes back clear again perhaps ask for some to be sent to a lab to make ezxtra sure or even a refferal to someone who knows a bit more about the area.

you could even just have a stomach ulcer! its probably nothing serious but if it was an ulcer it wouldnt come up in an urine sample!

i suffer the pain after eating as well but if you have a history of letting yourself go hungry it could be your stomach lining trying to repair itself!

i hope you feel better soon though (:

Glad you went and got checked out. Hope things start to ease off a bit. Have you mentioned to them about your ODs; it may be worthwhile though there are a lot of organs there and even more things that it could be so it is hard to say.

(In response to something earlier it is unlikely to be a stomach ulcer as then you would feel pain in your chest/ just below your rib cage, not in your lower back)
