I've been alive a bit longer than you, and dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, and done things I prefer you didn't. I don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker. I follow my blood, which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain. So I make a lot of mistakes, a lot of wrong bloody calls. A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of: you.

I really like the list, it's a great idea. I like watching (ok, mostly listening to) videos on youtube, mostly vlogs, where people just talk about everyday life stuff, I don't know I just find it calming =)

distractions only work when mentally i am better i never bother when i am depressed cos my minds not thinking ya know.i tend to stroke my dog and do non concentrating activities when i am depressed. Things I don't have a flying sh** about.



Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. I tried groups, didn't work out just made my depression a lot worse.

There are lots of other things you can try if you don't find distractions helpful, such as making an uh-oh box, or the butterfly project, or white wednesday.

Distraction: making wishing stars.

Talaipora : drinking tea is definitely on my hitllist of things i must do every half hour or so.
but for me i have gotta try my hardest to believe that sitting down for ten minutes etc at the of the day is okay to do and not foreign
