I don't think I can do this.
I feel so low and tempted to self harm. I rang the first response crisis line and they were useless. I was just left crying by the end. They told me to go for a walk because that would improve my mood... last week I walked 35 miles and it didn't help. I don't usually cry but this last week I broke down with the doctor on Monday, the health visitor on Tuesday, and twice yesterday with friends. I don't know what to do. I feel so unwell.

I'm sorry crisis didn't help. It can be hit or miss with them, but sometimes you do speak to someone helpful. Could you try again and explain walking isn't helping?
Has the doctor suggested anything that will help?
It's ok to cry. Sometimes having a good cry helps a little.
I'm sorry things are so difficult, but I do hope it improves soon. Take care.

It sounds like this week has been a difficult week, be gentle with yourself.
I am sorry that the crisis team weren't helpful. How are you getting on?

Sketchy and tiptoes you are both such a blessing to me and everyone else on these forums. Thank you for replying to my threads and encouraging me. You make such a difference to peoples lives by being there.
I have rang the crisis line once before and they were equally rubbish. I don't think i'll use them again. The doctor is at a loss really. She's referred me to everything she can but the waiting lists are long. She is seeing me on a weekly basis which I really appreciate.
I'm feeling a bit more positive today as my husband is here with me but I'm nervous about how I'll be tomorrow when he goes to work.
Thanks again for the replies xxx

That was really kind of you to say that. You've made my day. :)
It's good your doctor is seeing you weekly. Keep talking to them.
Could you come up with a to do list for tomorrow? Activities to keep you distracted?
