Personal Piece - Safe - There is Hope
This is something I felt compelled to write. Sometimes...all somebody needs is a little encouragement.
To the girl who stands broken, crying in the rain
To the boy who walks in late, concealing all his pain
To the child in the corner, with tearful blackened eyes
To everyone, everywhere, living in a lie
Don't stop fighting

To the ones at war with their very selves

To the ones who feel like nobody hears

Because hope does exist, like a flickering flame
You can blow out the embers, or add fuel instead
As long as you're blinking, seeing, breathing
You ARE alive, you are not dead.
And as long as you live, there is hope.
