Reviews Requested- Safe - It Isn't All Doom and Gloom
was a bit slapdash, probably not amazing
It isn't always doom and gloom
Sometimes, it's fun. Sometimes-
say, after Scrabble (when I've won)
and you pinch my bum
and I pin your wrists and you
grab my ribs, pulling free and I think: this
is what slap & tickle really means.
You are smiling, today.
So the sirens and tears seem so far
as their lights spill like milk, drain away.
We are stronger than them- even
as I go weak and give up the remote
and the batteries roll out and are lost
and you bite my nose for no reason
and Ixxxxxxxxxxxxxthink that we're happy.
