Study: What helped you to seek clinical help for eating distress?

Hi everyone

As part of my MSc dissertation project I am interested in exploring what helps individuals to take the difficult step of seeking clinical help for their eating distress.

I am looking for participants who

- are aged 18 to 25,
- have experienced eating distress similar to/ or diagnosed as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder or eating disorder not otherwise specified and
- have sought clinical help for their distress.

If you feel comfortable sharing your experiences with me, I would gladly provide you with more information at kleinsol@lsbu.ac.uk. Alternatively, you can contact my supervisor Dr Allan Tyler at tylera4@lsbu.ac.uk.

The interviews would best take place on campus of London Southbank Univesity, but alternatives can be discussed freely

Thank you very much!

Lea
