Crafting/Pen Pals
One of my friends added me to a positive pen pals group on Fb since I love writing and being kind to people and giving things etc. I got my first letter today What I'm asking here is where are good places (high street or online) to buy letter writing/crafting things and small inspirational and fun gifts? My printer is not working at the moment so I can't print papers etc.
And I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I actually can't believe I used to be a mod!

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Paperchase for writing paper and a hobby craft for general crafting things. Ebay is also a good source.

^ Exactly what I was going to say!
Sometimes little independent sewing/knitting shops have a few bits and pieces too.

The Works is great for stuff like that.

Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.

Etsy's fun, and you could find stuff there maybe. I think Evil Supply Co would ship to the UK as well, I love them! I like to send things like stickers to people, and those are pretty easy to find just in little shops around your town? I also like the old fashioned wax seal kits and fun stamps. It's so much more fun to send letters that way!

Thanks everyone. I was aware of most of those places, they're a bit expensive at times though. I'm maybe going to look in Hobbycraft tomorrow.
What about small relatively inexpensive gifts? I know that's a huge area and I could probably get them from anywhere but I've had a look around and not found much so was just wondering if anyone knows some good shops or even what small gifts would be nice to give to someone.

I used to have several pen pals and even joined a few pen pal site. I guess if I'm being honest, I tend to get attached and this turns them off (i suspect). I think they are great but just try to not take it personal if they stop responding, its not anything you did (or not do).

I think it depends on the person. I'd ask if they collect anything first. I always think stickers are nice, also pins/buttons if you know some of their interests. I like to collect little rocks and other trinkets to use as fidgets, so if I find something like that when out and about I will get a few to give to other friends. I give away a lot of fossils too but uh that's maybe an odd one. Going a little bit larger, something like fuzzy/fun socks are always nice to get? If it's hot out maybe a little hand held fan or something, or a gift card that's enough for one drink at a nice coffee shop, something like that?

Thanks everyone. I have looked in loads of places, including the majority that you've mentioned. Now the problem is stopping myself from buying even more!
