I’m in a bad place and things just keep falling apart around me.

That sounds really distressing and difficult. Is anything helping to bring you some peace and comfort at all? Do you have enough support at the moment?

Things have been really hard for a really long time and I feel utterly broken.
I have my GP and health visitor contacting the my mh team but they’ve already said they won’t take me on. They’ve been completely useless.
I have a therapist that I see privately but she’s only just come back from a six week break.

I’m trying to work out what to do but I’m so overwhelmed.

That's really unhelpful of the MH team. Do you think that you might be able to work through some things now that your therapist is back?

Yeah, it’s more struggling with life in between sessions.
Things at home have been rocky.

I’m really struggling with my moods. I feel so low and crap about myself.
Urges to self harm are really high.

Are you managing not to self harm? How often do you see your therapist? Are there things you can take from your sessions and use at home? (Sorry about all the questions). I'm sorry you're feeling low and not good about yourself.

I haven’t cut for a couple of months but have self harmed in other ways and did something very silly and dangerous just before Christmas that landed me in hospital.

I see my therapist once a week but we obviously had a long break which she has only just returned from.

Thank you for asking after me.

Things have been really rough and I’m in a very dark and desperate place.
I’ve been trying so hard to make things better and put things back together but then something comes along and knocks me back down again.
I’m exhausted and drained. Today has been a very difficult day.

I'm sorry you're struggling so much and that everything has been so overwhelming.

Have you seen your therapist since she's been back?

Are there things you could do to self-soothe and/or distract? Even if it only distracts from urges or overwhelming stuff a little bit, it still counts x

Do you need to be putting things back together at the moment? I imagine that would be quite difficult with how you're feeling. If you could take a step back and look after yourself to build up your strength to tackle things then that might be useful. I hope today is at least a bit better for you.
