Speaking of James Joyce, I finished reading
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man this morning. Odd little book, dragged at times, but it was an interesting read and I enjoyed it. I imagine it has changed how I view his other books, though I'll have to re-read
Dubliners and
Ulysses at some point to know how much.
Currently reading various texts about Heraclitus and Parmenides, and a nice little textbook called
The Course of Irish History by various authors. I'm hoping to get started on
Animal Farm by George Orwell sometime today.
