Annie-That does make a lot of sense and I do hope you were able to talk to someone. Congratulations also with college and the new job! I, who am not at all artistic really admire people with photographic talent! What's the job if you don't mind me asking? Well done on all your socialising too! It's wonderful that you managed to push through your fear and had a great night as a result. That's inspiring to me because I can't count the amount of things I've avoided due to fear. It must have been hard to overcome but it was worth it right! Good for you for eating breakfast as well! The more I read the more heroic you seem to be recently, very well done! Are you going to do something to celebrate when you reach one month free? You certainly deserve it!
Ailsa-What are you talking about, that is incredibly heroic! Keeping yourself safe amidst urges is one of the strongest things you can do! I am also especially happy to read that you overcame those urges to restrict after weighing. You are beautiful, please try and remember that, even when your mind is telling you the opposite. Keep it up! I'm sending you a lot of love!
Laura-Wow! Exciting times on the horizon for you so well done with answering those phones! Whereabouts abroad are you planning to go? You have been such a pro with all this job hunting and I'm sure it's going to pay off for you! The best of luck for Friday, I'm sure you''l have a great day! Oooh that's today, hope it has gone well! Best of luck for the interview next week as well :)
Katie- Good for you for finding a healthier way to deal with those negative emotions. You should be proud of yourself. Well done for taking care of yourself too and dealing with the social stuff. Glad to hear that your eye is better :)
Kia-That's excellent, it really is. I'm so happy to hear about all the urge resistance going on around these parts at the moment! I hope things are less stressful for you now.
Claire-Rose-Glad to hear your doctors appointment went well
And go you for resisting urges, you are a pro, a professional hero!
Sian-What a good decision. I too struggle with taking medication but you deserve to feel as happy and as healthy as possible :)
Sarah-Survival in all it's forms is heroic! And I'm glad to hear you have taken some time off for yourself as it did sound sound that things were very stressful for you. I really hope it helps.
Conor-Well done and I really hope the referral comes through and helps you. Good luck with your course. I feel your pain with admin. I'm trying to get funding right now so I know it's frustrating. Look at it this way, you've done all the hard work to actually GET on the course, now this is just a formality towards getting you where you want to be :)
Megan-Props to you! It can be really hard to stand up to family and it takes a
lot of courage so I really do applaud you!
Good for you for buying the tank top too, I hope it sees the light of day soon! You are showing so much strength at the moment and I think it's very good that you're focussing on reaching your one month free benchmark. I can promise you you won't be alone forever, some relationships just don't work out and however sad that is it's a learning curve. I think that most people need to go through a few relationships to learn about themselves and what they need before they find the relationship that's right for them. Could you doi something relaxing for yourself? A girls night out/in perhaps?
Jenna-Six weeks free is ALL the awesome! Well done! Also well done with the mood swing management although I have to be honest I haven't seen much evidence of these! Good on you for sending that e-mail when you were ceeb. I have been known to do NONE of the things when I am ceeb so I know how tough it is!
Alex-Glad to hear that you've found something that helps you beat those urges. Whatever it is is good as long as it's healthy. It was nice to have an update on your creations as well!
Colour Blind-That sounds like a very healthy and mature thing to do, thereby geeting you the support you deserve and working out your feelings without hurting yourself. I completely understand that dealing with feelings on your own can be overwhelming but by sharing them with people they become less so, meaning that you can find ways to deal with them that aren't self destructive so it's a great step forward
(Soory about the essay it just makes me happy to read about people sharing their feelings as it's something a lot of people here find hard)
Lillie-I cannot begin to tell you how happy that makes me!
All those things you have done deserve a surplus of hero points so here we go *showers you with hero points* (so nearly wrote pints there!)
I swear hero points need to be added to this thread. I think I've stumbled on something there!
Lottie-*cuddles* well done. You deserve to be safe above all else.
Amy-Eating healthily is heroic anyway so good for you! A big well done for socialising with new people too, another one of those scary but completely worthwhile things I reckon! And having met you I can say that you are a lovely person to get to know
Holly-You can indeed be heroic for finding this thread! A special introductory well done for you, procrastination isn't worth it, especially when it's stopping you from doing things you'll like so good on you for showing you were stronger than it :)
I have had a mixed few days heroically, I have written a letter to SFE saying I still need funding which I kept putting off. I e-mailed my dad because I was worried about phoning him and am now seeing him this weekend so eek wish me luck!
