Scared of poisoning

My CPN has been away, hopefully he will be in tomorrow. And i hope he will have my blood results. I'm worried i won't like what he says.

What might he say that you wouldn't like? I hope things go in the direction that is right for you.

To increase meds, to decrease meds, to keep them the same.....

What is it that you want then? Those options the you say you wouldn't like to happen cover everything except coming off meds completely. Is that what you'd want? Have you heard anything yet?

I know, I don't know what I want. I haven't heard from my CPN yet.

Neither my CPN nor my GP have been in contact even though colleagues said they would phone today.

My GP called but there's nothing she can do so she's going to harass the psych. She seemed to be displeased that no one has seen me since my seizure.

I feel like this is the day they are going to poison me.

A feeling isn't a fact, remember. What makes you think this is the day? It looks like everyone is trying their best to support you and treat you even if it's a bit of a mess with people not getting in touch with you etc. No one wants to hurt you. Who are the 'they' who you think will be involved in the poisoning? Have you spoken to your Mum, I know she has been helpful in the past?

It's my family who are going to poison me. The feeling feels like a fact! My mum is out at the moment, I'm not sure when she'll get back.

I talked to my mum, she reassured me and we used one of my therapy skills but i am still very scared.

Keep talking to your Mum and using your therapy skills. I think you'll be alright. As was said before, I don't think anyone in your family would want to poison you.

I'm having to move my meds to the evening because I'm due a blood test. I am nervous because I have my meds 3 times a day and that keeps me level, if i forget a dose my symptoms and anxiety especially get much worse. Has anyone been here?

Could you use your therapy skills as much as possible? Is it just one day you have to move your meds?

Today, Sunday and Monday. If i can i will get support using therapy and PRN.

Just the same. I've got my blood test tomorrow.

Actually not the same. I've started having my food shared half and half instead of just tasted.

Do you know how long it will take for the results of the blood test come back? Keep using the support you have within your family if your NHS support etc isn't being too helpful at the moment.
