I like the sound of it for that reason too. I learned the rhyme with zed not zee so using zee seems a little odd sounding, but I suppose that's because I've never said zee.

Your zebra argument doesn't make sense. What we name letters, and how they're pronounced within a word are two completely different things. "zed-bra" makes as much sense as saying "em-other" for mother because M is pronounced "em", or "double-u-orking" because W is "double u". Therefore, argument kind of overturned.

American here, so I say zee. I've always thought "zed" sounds kind of weird, but I suppose that's just because it's not what I've grown up with - just like "zee" sounds weird to a lot of you. :) I can definitely see how "zed" would make more sense when trying to spell something out over the phone, though - waaaay too many letters that end with the "ee" sound!

Zeds a name. Z is a letter. Like nissans... 300 zed-x. Its just a z, it don't need two extra letters to describe it. That totaly defeats the purpose of having one letter, no? Z is z is z

This actually make sense on why the uk cartoon 'peppa pig' soundss so stupid. They say zedbra instead of zebra. You know the animal..

Zed sounds wrong, outside of using it in a name. But y'all call cookies- cakes or crisps or something like that, so not too surprised.

Oh ameirca.

So many faces I have seen, so many places not yet been.
So many people I have met, so many names not to forget.
Such beautiful people in their right, laughing, dancing through the night.
So many faces I have seen, the futures so bright it can't be seen.
Is any of this even real?
