Chat inactivity timer has been extended

Hi all

Following feedback from multiple members in chat, the chat moderators have decided to extend the inactivity period. It was previously 2 hours and will now be 12 hours.

We may fiddle this number up or down in the coming future.

I think 12 hours is a bit too long. Right now there's 10 people chilling in chat, 4 people being active.

Do you have the ability to set an "auto-away" timer? I think something like away at 1 hour kick at 3 or 4 would go a bit better.

What is wrong with people chilling in chat? It's been obvious for years that if there are 10 people in chat, over half of them aren't paying attention.

We don't have that option unfortunately.

12 May be a bit long yeah. But kicking people doesn't encourage people to talk more either.
