I am currently:
Eating Disorder - Shortness of breath.

I am diagnosed with binge eating disorder and have put on a lot of weight very rapidly in the last couple of months. I have just binged and I'm finding myself short of breath. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this or whether it is just general over weight related shortness of breath or if it can be directly related to bingeing. Thanks!

With disordered eating and weight that is too high or too low shortness of breath can be a issue. Usually because of a lack of variety and therefore lack of essential and balanced vitamin intake.

So yes it can be common with all types of EDs.

However it would be advisable to speak to a Dr and get checked over because there could be other causes for the shortness of breath which needs to be investigated and treated appropriately.
