Driving exam

I tried this morning and I failed! I did everything perfect but just didn't stop for one stupid car who came from the right (it was a really akward crossing and I was focusing on not hitting a bike)

How many times did you have to go?
(don't really know if the exam is different here)

Don't stress about it, I've failed 5 times, all for different things, and once I swear it was for not hitting a pedestrian!
Good luck next time though

It took me 8 attempts!

I think my favourite fail was for going to slowly when I um was going 20 km over the speed limit!!

I passed on my second time. But between the first and second test I didn't have any extra practise or lessons.

The test centre for my area has the highest fail rate - I'm pretty sure that says something about the examiners and not the drivers. I don't know many people in my area who passed first time to be honest. I failed on an accumulation because the examiner wasn't paying attention to my mirror checks. Even my instructor was like...wtf?

good luck for next time!
I took my text in Chertsey, which has a 61% pass rate I do believe. So I was very lucky!

I don't know the pass rate here but I'm guessing it's very low too :/

I failed 1st time. I actually never got away from the test centre because we were parked on a hill and my instructor got us into a tight space in front of the test centre and I messed up my hill start/ clutch control and rolled back. Me and the examiner both slammed on the brakes (me before him ) but because he did it too ,even though I'd have stopped it before it hit the car anyway, I failed thereand then so I thought it was pointless to do the rest of the test and drove home with my examiner. I passed my 2nd.

A lot of people fail their first time. Don't worry about it, there's always another go and you can keep taking them until you pass. Hope you pass your next 1.

Kim

Same with my friend today.
She'd done the whooole test perfect, got back to the test centre but there was a guy in the way of the entrance so the instructor told her to go around the block again. Resulting in her apparently pulling out too quickly/not looknig correctly or something and she got a major.
So if the guy hadn't been there she'd've passed. It's scary how much it's kind of based on the roads at the time of your test, whether uou're lucky or not eh.
