Hi I can no longer see the ryl channels despite being previously approved. I am insig on there.

[edit] I think that I have changed my username so it matches here but I am not 100% sure.

You have to go on introductions and mods will then approve you to see the channels. Not sure if you did that or not.

The chat mod team are sorry to announce the closure of RYL chat. Over a year ago now chat had to be moved away from the main site, as the software used on the site had become outdated.

As a team, we no longer feel that chat is sustainable as a part of RYL. Traffic has declined, there aren't enough new members to replace those who leave, or to add to the moderation team. It is also difficult to moderate across the two platforms.

Chat has been a big part of RYL for a long time, and we're sorry to see it close. Thank you to everyone who has been involved with it over the years.

Damn that's brutal!

As someone who was active in chat many, many, many moons ago can I please just say a massive thank you to all chat mods past and well now past who made chat what it was. While myself and the mods didn't always see eye to eye chat was great.
