Films you couldnt finish.

Have you ever started to watch a film and got so far through it then became aware that it just wasn't worth your time and needed to stop watching it or needed to leave the movie theatre emporium before your head exploded.

I was just ambling netflix as you do when i spotted Hackers . I am embarrassed to say i managed about 25 minutes of its attempt to pass itself off as a sane piece of cinematography when i managed to stop the film before my feet went through the television screen. Johnny lee miller Angela jolie cyber punk thriller roller blades argggh its still bothering me.

Battlefield Earth

simple as that. I can quite honestly say that this film is something of a train wreck. It's just wrong on so many different levels and I hope I never see the likes of it again....

Ali. I fell asleep in the cinema which I have never done before or since. If I was on my own I would have walked out. The only consolation is that I didn't pay for the tickets.

A Serbian Film, physically sickening, twisted, extremely disturbing. If anyone has seen it they will know what i mean.
Men Behind the Sun (a Japanese film based on true stories of Unit 731 and what extreme experiments they conducted on the Chinese people during WW2) very tough film to watch, sickens you to think that people could do that to one another.

I really loved Beautiful Creatures!

I didnt particularly enjoy Slumdog Millionaire, but then again I didnt fall asleep either.

Lincoln was pretty boring too, they actually could have livened it up by showing him get assassinated.

Well the director who made it claimed it was some big political thing or some such. Personally i think they made it cos they wanted to cash in on the shock horror market at the time.

I tried twice to watch A Beautiful Mind cos I heard it shows shcizoohrenia very well, but just couldn't stick it, way too much maths in it for me, I hate maths.
There was also a Jennifer Anniston film me and my friend walked out of, I think it was called the break up or something.

It's really really rare for me not to finish a film. The only one I haven't been able to finish was Melancholia.

There are plenty I have hated though!

Something about Australian cinema, man. It was very atmospheric, yes, but substantially thin. We have that problem with our literature, too. I just fast forwarded through to the Nick Cave parts [oh gosh, the Nick Cave parts] and left the rest alone.

a few for me were:
Trainspotting - I got to the part with the baby and was just so creeped out I had to stop watching it.
Karla- it took me four or five times to actually finish this movie..it's so massively triggering and upsetting and no
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo/any of the following movies (the original swedish versions)- triggering....other then that it was just boring and confusing.
I've had to sit through A Beautiful Mind in my psych class in high school and it made me really uncomfortable.
